Pandora's box

a myth
i always think of when i see evil in men

i was brought up to believe all men r born kind
but i see otherwise as i grow up
who's to blame?
Pandora's box
for releasing all the evils of mankind

i wonder what life is like inside the box
full of hopes?free of all evils?

if the box had never been unlocked
the hope imprisoned inside had never been unleashed
why would we still pray for miracles?

maybe life is not hopeless
but we are just pathetically hopelessly humans
