Foot Soak Recipe

What is the best way of slimming your legs without any workout or stringent diet?? The answer is foot soaking. Besides the slimming effect, foot soak can improve blood circulation, eliminate foot odour, stimulate and soothe which makes it a great stress reliever. i came across a few recipes which i thought were interesting to share.

Ginger Foot Soak

ingredients :

2 cloves of gingers, 1 litre of boiling water + 1 litre of tap water, 1 cup of vinegar and 1 cup of white wine

Instructions :

- add gingers, vinegar and white wine into a pail of hot water.
- add some tap water until the temperature of water is bearable for soaking.
-soak for 15-20 min (summer) or 20-25min (winter)

Honey Foot Soak

ingredients:

1 cup of honey , 1 gallon of warm water

instructions:

-mix honey to warm water
-saok for 10-15 min

Coffee Foot Soak (wow!)

ingredients:

2 cups of brewed coffee, 1 gallon of warm water

instructions:

-add coffee into water
-soak for 10-15 min
-rinse feet, dry & moisturise

I'm gonna have a go at the ginger foot soak coz it seems more effective. The other two sound fun but i'm quite reluctant to soak my feet in coffee. I mean coffee is meant to be enjoyed, not to be wasted on soaking the stinky feet. Anyway, i got another recipe from a Sainsbury's staff that only needs warm water and one teaspoon of salt. It is good for softening and exfoliating feet according to her. Let's try!!:)

TIRED!!

Since Wilkinson never came and we still wanted those stuff (mirror!monkey!!shoe rack!!!), we decided to get them from the store ourselves (back to square one after all the issues with Wilkinson). We left at 9.30am, met Andrew n Ei Leen at the tube station and they wondered why we were s0 early(weren't they too??). Anyway, we still couldnt beat Zul, who was already at Wilkinson way b4 we started moving. Tak sabar ke?It was the first time Helen was going there so she had no idea what the store looks like..She was surprised that it's huge...to be exact, it's huge and unorganized. You may spend the whole day shopping in there and still cant find what you want even though the catalog says IT's THERE!! So, as expected we both had a 'great' time finding the pin boards (helen wanted the paw while i wanted the monkey), my shoe rack and helen's pink clock. We saw one hanging up on the wall for display but it was totally out of our reach. In the end, i decided to get the shoe rack from Argos so Helen went back first. That is not the end of the story. In fact, it's just the beginning!!At first, i wanted a 4 tier shoe rack but wasn't sure if i could carry it back ( thank god i thought of dat!!) so i asked the staff and she replied,''It's quite heavy, dear" Okie..it must be very heavy...for me. Forget it. i'll get the 2 tier one. After i collected the shoe rack and was about to leave, i met Rama who was waiting for his collection. It was very kind of him to offer to carry my stuff back for me but i rejected( i tot i cud manage it..arghh..bodoh betul!!) My shoppings got heavier the more i walked. Then i popped in starbucks to have a cup of coffee b4 continuing my dreadful journey home. When i was about to enjoy the best coffee in the world, i suddenly realised that i lost my oyster card. I always have this habit of checking my bag whenever i'm on a bus or in a store. Damn it !!!I just topped up 10 pound this morning..arghh!!! What to do?? I walked to the train station which was 3 times further than the bus stop with my super weighty shoppings to top up my photocard. On my way to the train station i accidentally hit a few ppl with my long mirror..So sorry abt that but it was really crowded in the mall. By the time i got home, i was so exhausted but still had to drag myself to Sainsbury's to get some food. I was too tired to cook n running out of food supply. After settling my grocery, i set up the shoe rack, arranged my shoes nicely, soaked the cartridge, washed the pitcher & reservoir and finally hung my mirror. All in one hour. Then only i got the chance to sit down and REST! What a long tiring Saturday!!

P/S I found my Oyster card which was stuck in between my SPs. *piss* I heard about a saying that bad luck comes in three. What are the other two?? i wouldn't want to find out.

Wilkinson Frustration

After having been waiting for wilkinson delivery for 3 days and calling the customer service 5 times, i decided to call off the order. I told the receptionist I'm SICK of waiting and calling in to ask you the same thing over and over. Every time i called i wud have to go through the stupid 10 min on-hold b4 i cud speak to someone there...grrr. The excuses she gave me always had nothing to do with them but the courier ( isn't that part of their company??) like the driver couldn't find my place(cud hav called to ask for direction, bodoh!!), my address is wrong (i typed Floyer House but in their database it appeared as Queen Mary Uni...wat system is that??the computer is as bodoh as them too!!), the courier couldn't find me so they rescheduled the delivery to the next day (Hell!!) and the last one was ridiculous - the courier sent my items to the depot coz they couldnt find floyer and din know what to do about my order.CRAPPP!! That lady still had the cheek to ask me to collect from the depot which she had no idea where (she said she only had the number..HA!!) if i cant wait any more. What the heck is this?? I paid for delivery and now i have to collect from a mystery depot myself...No way!!Straightaway,i canceled my order and got the refund. I should have asked for compensation for the time wasted on waiting, money on calling them and above all, disappointment!! Now i know why their stuff are cheaper than any other stores. They cut the cost on courier or maybe the courier doesn't exist at all. It's just a trick to get people order online. Peeps, Wilkinson is a con!!!Watch out!

Time to Shed Some Fat

I used to have needle phobia when I was young coz i thought it was very painful. As i get older, i realised that pain is not my worst nightmare but WEIGHT!!bet it's every girl's concern as people are getting more n more weight conscious. The perception of thin might need to be revised coz the society no longer sees 'normal' as 'thin'. That's why we keep hearing people reply '' I'm not thin enough'' when we say ''you look normal''.So, it seems like 'skinny' is what we are trying to achieve if we wan to fit into the thin category according to the new standard. How pathetic!!If that's the new definition of thin, i'm way out of it... hate Helen's digital scale that forced me to face the truth...*sob* *sob* It's really time for a new diet and more workouts...oh nooo

This is my recent weight, 45.9kg...*faint*..if needle cud reduce my weight, i wudnt mind poking myself a few

This is my target..seems like a mission impossible

New Occupants in Room B3

woohoo...the first 2 items i bought from ebay last week arrived today!!! I have been expecting red cards from Royal Mail and thought of collecting all of them b4 popping in the post office so that i could collect all my stuff in a go. Apparently,i'm not as patient as i thought i was. The moment i got the red card, i went to the office right away. It was yesterday when i got it. Sadly, the royal mail stafff failed to find my packet so i gave them my no. and hoped that they would ring me up when it comes by.Yup, they did and it was much quicker than i expected so i happily went in today to grab it. Now, here they are, settling in at their new home:)..Anyway, my Wilkinson stuff should be arriving today so there are more to look forward to. What a nice Wednesday!!

Best of Friends

Little did i know when we met

That our friendship would last

through the years,

Together we've seen the world change

& we've stood by each other,

Through good times n bad

It's nice to know that there is a 'friend for life'

That's what you are to me!

First Time Seller

I have always been a buyer on ebay ever since the day i joined ebay but today i decided to make a change. Helen and Eli have sold stuff on ebay before so i thought why not... been curious what it is like to be a virtual seller. Besides, i have this belt lying comfortably in my closet for a year, waiting to be showed off but has never got a chance to. Sorry, belt. It's not that u r not special..It's just that punk is not the right style for me (why did i get u in the first place??)..Well, i thought u looked cute at first sight and perhaps could make a nice gift for someone. Little did i realise that none of my friends is a fan of punk. So that explains why i'm selling you.. to someone who appreciates u..someone who deserves u more.

Bye bye, my dear friend. You'll always be on my mind wherever you are

Obsession

My life is practically full of OBSESSIONS. Try to ask anyone who knows me what i'm nuts about and i bet you'll get a real long list.Yes, i'm easily obsessed and my obsession changes from time to time (although there r some remaining unchanged). Is it good or bad? Well, i guess that's what keeps me staying excited most of the time so it must be GOOD :P:P
Anyway, my new obsession is interior design.Don't get me wrong. I'm not all that pro and I'm not gonna take a course or anything to ke
ep me preoccupied. I'm just diverting my shopaholism to home decor temporarily(i guess). It started when i woke up one day and realised that my room looked way too bare. So, i spent hours browsing through ebay and argos to find some nice and affordable decorative stuff like beddings, fairy lights, calender, letter holder, vase etc. The more i looked up, the more i wanted to get even tho some were not even on my list in the first place (this is so shopaholic of me!). I must say it's very stupid of me to think that money spent on room deco is less than on clothes :|

I'm putting up a few pics of my new beddings (upon Shee's request:P). I'll upload more once i've done with my room.

Proudly present my fridge magnets

I'm loving this 'SLEEP ON IT' pillow. It looks so inviting every time i see it..as if it's calling me to zzzzz

Look, it's my favourite colour --- PINK!!! Helen, u r so right..whoever hates pink will definitely die in our rooms.:P
